I'm Ness Lockyer, creator of all that is Marley & Lockyer which started out on our kitchen table back in 2007. Now it is a fully functioning creative brand. You will often find me in the studio, here in the beautiful Tamar Valley in Tasmania, painting, drawing, creating in clay, writing in calligraphy or doing something creative.
I have always been passionate about creating a beautiful home, and I hope that what you find here can help you create a beautiful life too.
My pieces have become highly sought after, and often sell out in minutes of a shop update going live, so you need to be quick.
Each totally handmade piece is decorated or drawn/painted on by me to create individual pieces - none are exactly the same, and it is this integrity to the traditional makers of old that I love and hold dear. I hope you will too.
The motto of Marley & Lockyer is “live beautifully”. For me it means using those antique pieces in the back of your cupboard that you only use on special occasions. In my life, everyday is that special occasion!
